Broadcast Storm |
A chain reaction that can be caused when an incorrect packet broadcast on a network forces many host to respond all at once, shutting down the network.This can happen for various reasons, from hardware malfunction to configuration errors and bandwidth saturation.Broadcast storms can be minimized by properly designing the network.
