CSMA/CD |
Carrier Sense, Multiple Access, Collision Detection.Ethernet packets are transmitted using CSMA/CD, which means the sending computer waits for the line to be free before sending a message, then sends; if two computer accidentally transmit at the same time and their messages collide, they wait and send again at different times.
