Delivery Status Notification |
(DSN).A MIME content-type defined by IETF that can be used by a message transfer agent (MTA) or electronic mail gateway to report the result of an attempt to deliver a message.This notification is designed so it can be read by humans or computer.For example, the delivery status notification enables mailing list exploders to automatically update their subscriber list when delivery attempts repeatedly fail.
