Distortion of a projected image because the projector is not at a 90-degree angle to the screen.The distance to the top of the image on the screen is much greater than to the bottom.Usually the distorted image is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom; for example, a building may look like it is vanishing into the sky.This distortion especially happens on overhead projectors and front room projectors because they are placed so close to the screen.
