Liquid Crystal Display |
(LCD).A type of display used on digital watches, calculator, and laptop computer.LCDs are lighter and consume much less power than other computer displays.Liquid crystals are rod-shaped molecules which spiral when they are exposed to an electrical charge.Polarized light passing through the layer of liquid crystal cell is twisted along the spiral path of the molecules.
