Scalable Font |
A font that can be used to print character of any size.In a scalable font, the outlines of the character are stored a vector graphic, rather than having a bitmap of each character.Because the outline can be scaled to any size and then filled in with dot, all sizes will print with the same quality.Examples of scalable font are the Adobe Type 1 PostScript font, TrueType font, Intellifont typeface, and Speedo font.
