A group of people who use a particular kind of computer.One of the best sources of advice and help a newbie can find on what software to get, how to run programs, etc., is the members of a user group.User groups often sponsor Bulletin Board Services or have Internet sites, and have meetings for anyone interested.Other benefits of user group are software libraries, freeware download, information on upgrade, and special interest groups on many topics.
