Virtual Point Of Presence |
(virtual PoP).A remote point through which a user can connect to an Internet service provider, which is not maintained by the ISP.The virtual PoP is usually established to avoid long distance telephone charges.The user call to the virtual point of presence and the called is relayed to the ISP by a third party.
